The flowers are growing out of gramophones, which can represent growing out of the past. The oncoming tsunami can damage the flowers, however, flowers and nature will continue to grow and regenerate. Sad and crying faces are on the tsunami to as a representation of relieving feelings in times of difficulty and stressful situations. This painting reflects myself thinking about whether it is possible to escape from one's emotions, whether negative or positive. However the reference to nature reassures the viewer that no matter what, everything will pass.
