Hello!

My name is Jenise (jee-nees) and I am a Year 3 student from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, currently pursuing a Diploma in Arts Business Management. Studying Arts Business Management has allowed me to equip myself with knowledge and understanding about the arts scene in Singapore, locally and internationally. Through critical thinking and strategic planning, I have learnt different ways to engage with a wider audience when developing participative and trendy arts programmes in all disciplines.

I like to paint and sketch (traditionally and digitally) in my free time. I also indulge in watching sitcoms and Anime to relieve stress. Being able to do things I enjoy while balancing my studies and my part-time job makes life a little more livable and puts my mind at ease. I am a mentally strong and confident individual that puts others before self, and I am determined to make life more enjoyable for everyone using arts as a creative expression!

Aspirations

Growing up in an environment where creative expression and imagination is encouraged, I naturally picked up the interest of doing art. Being able to study a field that I am passionate about, I do feel that I am allowed to express myself freely through visuals. I hope that I can turn my interest into a full-time career to contribute to bringing Singapore's arts industry to greater heights.
