Schedule, copywriting and publishing content with Meta and LinkedIn for campaigns and events, and preparing EDMs such as quarterly newsletters and publicity materials for programmes

Support logistics and administrations for Charity Golf fundraising events, and fundraising efforts

My time at Bless Community Services (BCS) has been an intensive and meaningful period of hands-on learning across community engagement, operations, communications, and events management. Through the wide range of tasks entrusted to me, I developed a deeper appreciation for how nonprofit organisations function behind the scenes, and how every small action contributes to the larger mission of serving and uplifting communities.

Content Strategist
Roles and Responsibilities:

Developed and implemented content strategies for 3 AKAR Artists and the company’s social media platforms.

Assisted in gigs and events through event coverage and social media sharing, as well as speaking to clients to manage smooth event flow.

Increased Instagram statistics bringing up to 21,000 page views each month, over 4,000 reach.
Being part of AKAR Co. has exposed me to the music and gig scene, and a glimpse of the performing arts. Despite the short contract, I was exposed to real, full time work as a social media manager - a role that cannot be formally learnt in a classroom.

Supporting the planning of Singapore Biennale 2022

Designed a 20-page travel guide SOP to bring in artists from overseas

Compiled corporate rates with over 10 hotels
Being part of Singapore Art Museum has exposed me to the local contemporary arts scene, much different than what I was taught in class. Time management and accountability are the two main values I have learnt during the course of my 6-month internship, especially when planning for Singapore Biennale. Towards the end of my internship, I was offered a 3-month internship contract.

Planning weekly content calendars, created social media posts, manage fundraising campaigns and updating BCS platforms such as LinkTree and website

Wrote, edited, and designed quarterly newsletters and blog posts, and coordinated uploads to the BCS website.

Produced posters, banners, GRIT/SWEE marketing materials, toolkits, QR labels, and donor appreciation graphics.

Supported events with video filming/editing, handled vendor coordination, reimbursements, deliveries, and contributed to Third Stop Pantry communications.
